Albert Mann "Hengst Grand Cru" Pinot Gris Selection de Grains Nobles 2018 375ML HALF BOTTLE

What a treat! Selection de Grains Nobles, or "SGN" is a delicious, but rarely-seen specialty of Alsace. Similar to Sauternes in Bordeaux, this wine is produced from botrytis-affected grapes, which are intensely concentrated in flavor and sugar. The resulting wine is unctuous but full of energy and complexity. The style can be made from a variety of grapes, but we always love the ripe melon and spicy peach flavors only Pinot Gris can bring.
