Vanessa Cherruau works on the famed hill of Chaume, which historically was associated with sweet wines. Her specialty, however, is textured, mineral-driven DRY chenin blanc. Ripe orchard fruit and hints of acacia honey, followed by bright lemon acidity that cuts right through the inherent richness of the wine.
