Scar of the Sea "Lopez Vineyard" Zinfandel 2022

Ancient vines (planted in 1918) located due east of Los Angeles in the Cucamonga Valley are majestic source for this unusual example of California Zinfandel. A terrific profile of peppery spice an hint of bay leaf pair beautifully with red plum and tart blackberry notes. Lovely acidity and light tannins make this a great pair for BBQ.
