Irpinia Campi Taurasini can be considered as a baby brother to its more famous sibling, Taurasi. Composed of Aglianico, it is just as aromatically intense but its softer tannins allows it to be drunk young and will have shorter life-span. This 2016 vintage from Vescovo outclasses most Taurasi with its magnificent perfume of Mediterranean spices and density of body.
