Domaine Rollin Pernand-Vergelesses Rouge 2022

35-year-old fruit forms the basis for this excellent village-level wine sourced from multiple parcels in this supremely underrated village. A pop of red cherry fruit comes through loud and clear, along with hints of sweet herbs and little bit of earth. Firm tannins make this a fitting pairing for heartier red meat preparations (beef bourgignon, perhaps??)
