A big full-bodied southern Italian red is in a bottle that is basically a blunt weapon. Uncork it to reveal deep, jammy black fruit and rustic tannins along with a hint of volcanic earthiness. Delicious on its own, this one would stand up to grilled meats and spicy pastas beautifully.
