Beautiful old-vine Gamay (around 50 years of age) planted on sand and schist just steps from the Saint-Amour cru in Beaujolais. Savory notes of ripe cherries and kirsh, structured with present but gentle tannins. A great introduction to "serious" Beaujolais.
