Domaine des Clos "Les Avaux" Beaune 1er Cru 2019

Just south of the road leading up to Bouze-lès-Beaune is the Beaune premier cru of Les Avaux. Farming is organic, élevage is in oak, with no more than one-third new barrels, and the wine produced is balanced and gently structured, singing of red fruits and spices.
