A fascinating take on gamay. Guillaume Gilles has a small plot of 40-year-old vines of an old clone of the grape planted on pure granite in the Ardeche. The result is a wine with a beautiful combination of intensity and freshness. A hint of Cornas' bloody minerality comes through here beautifully.
