Guillaume Gilles is the spiritual successor to Robert Michel, one of the pioneers of classically-styled Cornas. This wine is sourced from the flat terroir in the appellation, and os is declassified to Cotes du Rhone status. A perfect "baby Cornas" made with the same care and giving the same amount of rustic pleasure as Gilles' top wines.
