Scar of the Sea "Hofer Vineyard" Grenache 2023

90-year-old vines planted on sand east of Los Angeles, and fermented whole-cluster in old redwood tanks. This is grenache at its more pure and aromatic, showing rose petal and sandalwood alongside tingly, crunchy red fruit.
