This is a wonderful example of a Brunello that is open and generous on the palate without feeling too much like a "fruit and oak bomb." Firm tannins make this a great pairing for a grilled bistecca, but you will want to keep savoring the earthy spice and ripe dark fruit long after the plates are cleared.
